[Verse 1: JT Music]
What if I don't want Buddhahood?
'Cause I thought I did, but that duty took
A lot out of me, back to the mountain - peace
Jumping through those hoops didn't do me good
Would it behoove me to indulge a bit?
I come from nothing, so I want all of it
You bet, any loophole in which I can fit
This ego, I'll know it's time to split

[Verse 2: JT Music]
Tell me what am I but an avatar?
In his spitting image from which I'll depart
'Cause I'm picking this up, where he left the bar
And he set it quite high - I'd call that a start
Every god up above, I'm beyond obeying
The level I'm on, they are not, just saying
I'm a fallen apple and I landed far
Actually, I'm a peach - pit against you all
Took a tumble, turned into a somersault
My head's in the clouds, thoughts are thunderbolts
Y'all are primitive - I'm in my prime, mate
Divinity isn't really my taste
But the wine's great, like my kind - ape
Give me enlightenment and I'll find shade
Started at rock bottom, up I came
But, between us - I was stuck in a hard place
Now decide with whom you'll side, take
Mine and I say that for thine sake, I
Can make Erlang go third-eye blind
These deities aren't in their right minds
Got the mountain peak on my sightline
'Cause with each victory, does my fight climb?
Everytime - same ending, kinda like rhymes
But the ghosts of the past don't get to write mine

[Refrain: Andrea Storm Kaden]

If nothing will ever be enough
I'll bet on you never giving up

[Verse 3: JT Music]
I'll be getting every relic back
Even if I gotta go to hell and back
Well, in fact, I'd relish that
Because I would finally be in my element
Among my demons, on a foul path
As the Yaoguais swipe, I'll be down to smash
When I land my strikes, I don't thrust - I thrash
I'm a master of pillar - my build is stacked
No matter my stance, unmatched I stand
Seventy two forms before I'm spent
Perfected perception, all six I sense
I'll admit, a bit impulsive with a quick reflex
Forget the standards heaven held
Don't help, they held me back
Had to shed the shell of self
That left me shackled to the past
Celestial a$ would have me bound and gagged
Unless I - what? Just get down and beg?
Fu*k that, call y'all my underlings
'Cause I'm far from done with the monkey bizz
I'm running this, Buddha, you're pissed
I know it 'cause you smell of it
Just keep your fingers out of this
Your future's bleak because I'll exist

[Pre-Chorus: Andrea Storm Kaden]
If nothing will ever be enough
I'll bet on you never giving up

[Chorus: Andrea Storm Kaden]
You are the rock that's not held down
They reigned you in, you took off the crown
It matters not where you are now
The path you walk is all that counts

[Verse 4: JT Music]
Chest thump, if you want some beef, I'll
Slap ya like I'm bumping beats
Steamroll anybody tryna touch this beast
I'm known to treat my staff well, at least
All as one - fall in, hominids
Time for the gods to give us homages
I'm the King Wukong - what you got on this?
Lie to yourself, tell me I'm just a myth
I'm not the one you want to spurn
Heavens humbled, then to burn
This sage ain't green no more, no sir
With westward eyes - I'll not return
Now monkey see, monkey learn
Embrace my nature and walk this earth
Embark upon a journey, that's on my terms
Be it may, one day yours

[Pre-Chorus: Andrea Storm Kaden]
If nothing will ever be enough
I'll bet on you never giving up

[Chorus: Andrea Storm Kaden]
You are the rock that's not held down
They reigned you in, you took off the crown
It matters not where you are now
The path you walk is all that counts
