[Intro: Sleepy Hallow & Alan Watts]
My body different, yeah
Shorty said she tryna kick it (Haha)
I’m in her mouth, something like a den—
I just wanna slide (Huh)
Party’s in the sky like it’s 2055
I assume that you’re all on the process of waking up
(Great John on the beat, by the way)
Tell you every—, damn

[Verse: Sleepy Hallow]
They gon’ tell you everything but the good I did

Your brother died and you ain’t slide, I know he wish you slid
Both of ’em shot, they at the doc like, “Who the victim is?”
Gotta give me props, I made it far, can’t lie, I know I did
In this s*it since little kids
Free my hearts, the system taking fathers from they kids
I know a b!tch that line you up, don’t need no barber chair
I know a n!gga who went savage, ’cause his pops ain’t here
Cry before he go to bed
Ask him he feel, he said, “Why am I always in my head?”
Why I gotta keep it on me? N!ggas wanna see me dead
And I don’t think my momma would like—
I can’t fall in love, ’cause that’s what karma would like
I feel like everyone above me hate the fact that I’m nice
Closest friends turned to rats, I’ve seen the black and the white
I don’t know what you dealing with, but just deal with it
Money can’t heal pain, I still be feeling it, I still be, damn
Stabbed you in your back, like back to back and you just let it slide
But when you finally got ’em back, them n!ggas act surprised
This s*it ain’t no act, feel like we cursed, feel like we born to hurt
Honestly, don’t know how I stop popping Percs, I can’t reverse
I can’t go backwards
Why you hate me ’cause I’m real? You probably fu*k with actors
Pay attention to this book, you can’t be skipping chapters
Happiness, the one thing we’re all chasing after

[Outro: Alan Watts]
When you are ready
To wake up, you’re gonna wake up
And if you’re not ready, you’re gonna stay pretending that you’re just a little, poor little me
And, uh, since you’re all here
And engaged in this sort of inquiry and listening to this sort of lecture
I assume that you’re all on the process of waking up
Or else, you’re teasing yourself with some kind of
A flirtation of waking up
Which you’re not serious about
But I assume here, maybe you are not serious but sincere
That you are ready to wake up
This is your wake-up call
