[Intro]
(Ah-ah, ah-ah)

[Verse 1]
Where did I come from? Why don't I remember?
The pieces of my past life will never come together
This is the promised time and a promise is forever
The power inside me, what is my adventure?

[Pre-Chorus]
Who am I to be? How do I proceed?
This is my disease (What is my adventure?)
Memories come to light, echoes in the mind
What do I decide? (Maria!)

[Chorus]
Race the shadows, trying to keep up
Every step, I'm finding Maria
Fight the fight, but what is the reason?
Every step, I'm finding Maria

[Verse 2]
I've been told to lay waste to the world before me
Plunge it into chaos to complete my story
But what if that's not what I'm meant to do
To enact revenge that was fabricated by you?
I got this image in my fading mind of a person
With glimmering eyes, yeah, my purpose was certain
She was the only one I was to protect
So for her, I'll save the planet from your terrible threat

[Pre-Chorus]
Who am I to be? How do I proceed?
This is my disease (Terrible threat)
Memories come to light, echoes in the mind
What do I decide? (Maria!)

[Chorus]
Race the shadows, trying to keep up
Every step, I'm finding Maria
Fight the fight, but what is the reason?
Every step, I'm finding Maria
I'm finding Maria

[Guitar Solo]

[Chorus]
Race the shadows, trying to keep up
Every step, I'm finding Maria
Fight the fight, but what is the reason?
Every step, I'm finding Maria
Race the shadows, trying to keep up
Every step, I'm finding Maria
Fight the fight, but what is the reason?
Every step, I'm finding Maria
Race the shadows, trying to keep up
Every step, I'm finding Maria
Fight the fight, but what is the reason?
Every step, I'm finding Maria

[Outro]
Maria (-ia, oh)
Maria (-ia)
Maria (-ia, ooh)
