Pretour Lyrics & Tracklist – Kim Petras

Album Information

Pretour is a music project being rolled out by German pop artist Kim Petras beginning on February 10, 2026. The project is planned as a series of single releases spread over several weeks throughout February and into early March, preceding and complementing her larger album campaign for the as-yet unreleased album Detour. The rollout appears to consist of a short sequence of tracks made available primarily through social platforms rather than traditional streaming services, reflecting ongoing industry and label dynamics around the broader album’s release.

The title Pretour suggests a thematic “pre-tour” concept — a set of songs that build momentum into the main album era rather than a traditional extended play release. The first track, “Pop Sound,” debuted on February 10, 2026, with further tracks set to follow on February 17, February 24, and March 3, 2026.

Release and Format

The project’s initial track was released on social media and video platforms on February 10, 2026. Subsequent songs are scheduled for weekly rollout throughout February and into early March. Because of label limitations and the evolving strategy around Kim Petras’ music distribution in 2026, Pretour has been noted by fans as likely not receiving a full traditional streaming rollout at launch.

Musical Style and Themes

The music associated with Pretour retains the pop and electronic elements typical of Kim Petras’ broader discography, drawing on dance-pop, electropop and club-oriented production. The lead track “Pop Sound” blends catchy pop hooks with sleek, synthesized production, while other teased tracks like “Get Sum” incorporate energetic beats and featured vocals that align with contemporary pop and EDM influences. Throughout, the material hints at a celebratory yet introspective tone, bridging fan-oriented singles and larger album concepts.
