[Verse 1]
The velvet curtains open to the light
I’m waking from a dream, it feels so bright
The gentle morning air, a hum, a song
I know exactly where I do belong
My shoes are on the floor, the door is wide
The garden calls for me to step outside
I’m wrapped in linen, soft as a cloud
The beauty here is speaking clear and loud

[Chorus]
Sleeping Beauty, wake for the kiss

Of sunshine pouring down on this
The golden walls dissolve into the air
A sanctuary built with love and care
The prince is just a friend who holds the door
To everything I’ve ever reached out for
Sleeping Beauty, open your eyes wide
There’s nothing left to fear or hide

[Verse 2]
He brushes back the hair behind my ear
He tells me that he’s happy I am here
To flourish in a world that’s safe and pure
A harmony that’s built to long endure
The window shows a view of endless blue
A masterpiece that’s made for me and you
I’m counting up the blessings in the hall
Waiting for the stars to start to call

[Chorus]
Sleeping Beauty, wake for the kiss
Of sunshine pouring down on this
The golden walls dissolve into the air
A sanctuary built with love and care
The prince is just a friend who holds the door
To everything I’ve ever reached out for

Sleeping Beauty, open your eyes wide
There’s nothing left to fear or hide

[Bridge]
They know I’m resting, peaceful in the light
Preparing for a future burning bright
To share the joy and leave a mark
To shine a candle in the gentle dark
You help me dream, you help me grow
There’s nowhere else I’d ever want to go

[Outro]
One, two, the dream is true
Three, four, I’m loving the shore
Five, six, the spirit picks
Sleeping Beauty is waking up for more

[Waking up for more]
I’m wide awake now
I’m wide awake
