[Intro - Megan & Sophia]
(Deep, rhythmic synth sequence fades in, accelerating into a heavy four-on-the-floor beat)
(Megan) One, two, three, let it go
(Sophia) No safety net below
[Verse 1 - Daniela & Yoonchae]
(Daniela)
Shadows dancing on the crimson floor
We don't look back at the open door
Told us to brace for the heavy wind
But that's exactly where the fun begins
(Yoonchae)
Chasing the rush till the daylight fades
Slipping right through all the barricades
No hesitation, we pick up the speed
Following nowhere but where we lеad
[Pre-Chorus - Megan & Lara]
(Megan)
Suspended in thе dark, a electric spark
(Lara)
We're diving right in, yeah we leave a mark
Close your eyes, feel the engine roar
We never felt this alive before
[Chorus - All / Sophia Center]
(All)
Now we're in a Free Fall! (Oh-oh-oh)
Giving it up, yeah we give it our all
(Sophia) No resistance, just the open space
(Lara) Racing the wind at a fearless pace
(All)
Gravity's gone, let the boundaries break
Beautiful chaos is the path we make
In a Free Fall!
[Verse 2 - Daniela & Sophia]
(Daniela)
Step on the gas, let the colors blur
Everything moving right where we were
Polished and sharp, yeah we keep it bold
Turning the pressure to solid gold
(Sophia)
They count the seconds, they watch the clock
Waiting to see if the system shocks
But we are built for the rapid dive
Thriving on keeping the flame alive
[Bridge - Yoonchae & Lara]
(Yoonchae)
No ceiling above us, no ground below
(Lara)
(High note belt) Just letting the momentum take control-l-l!
[Chorus - All / Lara High Harmony]
(All)
Now we're in a Free Fall! (Oh-oh-oh)
Giving it up, yeah we give it our all
(Sophia) No resistance, just the open space
(Lara) Racing the wind at a fearless pace
(All)
Gravity's gone, let the boundaries break
Beautiful chaos is the path we make
In a Free Fall!
[Outro - Megan & All]
(Megan) No holding back
(Sophia) Pure momentum
(Daniela) Let it drop
(All) Free Fall
(The synth baseline echoes out solo before ending on a sudden, sharp electronic snap)
About This Song
Shifting away from the high-energy opening track, "Air Lock" adopts a more minimalist, rhythm-focused arrangement driven by crisp, fast-tempo UK garage beats and spacious, stacked vocal pads. Thematically, the song centers on safeguards and isolation—building a tight, shielded haven away from online backlash, public judgment, and external distractions to preserve the unshakeable unity of the band. Alongside the members' seamless vocal blends, the track showcases Megan's crisp, fast-paced rap cadence. Originally penned by Charli xcx, the piece was gifted to KATSEYE after being shelved from its intended release on Beautiful Chaos, finally making its debut here.
