[Verse 1]
What should I draw?
Scene by scene, left blank
Your image, recalled,
It often becomes a faint sketch.

[Pre-Chorus]
Speech bubbles scatter like foam before you
I don’t want to say a single word easily.
You are my story, you are my plot
The story I will draw.
[Chorus]
One square of a day, another square of another day
A few empty pages of yesterday turned over
My wanderings are still beautiful
Because you never let go of the day I let go of
One page of a year, another page of another year
In my speech bubble, far above my head,
I try to fill in that blank space again.
I’ll paint us anew, just for you.

[Verse 2]
What color would it be?
If only I could paint you
A different expression every day
I want to capture it all within my frame.

[Pre-Chorus]
The words “I love you,” hidden in dotted lines
Left as the ending Even kisses
I’ll hold it all, just wait a little longer
So I can find you

[Chorus]
One square of a day, one square of another day
A few empty pages of yesterday

The reason my wanderings are still beautiful
Because you never let go of the day I let go
One square of a year, one square of another year
In my distant speech bubble above my head
I try to fill that blank space again
I’ll paint us anew, just for you

[Bridge]
The two of us, crossing a mysterious boundary
I’ll tear it apart someday
Just stay by my side like that
I’ll fill you up until the end
Beyond the frames, we’ll write our destiny

[Chorus]
One square of a day, one square of another day (Aah)
A few empty pages of yesterday (A few empty pages of yesterday)
The reason my wanderings are still beautiful (Ooh-ooh)
The reason you never let go of the day I let go Because of you, now I’ll paint us anew, just for you
