[Verse 1]
I went to Barcelona and looked for you right in that same café
Where one afternoon I asked: Why so alone?
While Gaudí watched us from a balcony
I had a little faith in myself, would you accept a coffee from me?
And in Catalan you answered me: “Asseu-te”
When I saw you, my heart already adored you
The same afternoon in Cadaqués and in Portlligat at exactly ten
I kissed you and we saw the Mediterranean

[Chorus]
Like Siamese twins all month
We made base in Cadaqués
I was Dalí and you, my Gala in love
We left everything in its place to meet again
And distance won over wonder
Life never forgives you
Today nobody knows about you in Barcelona
In Barcelona

[Verse 2]
Your letters still on my nightstand and, although I never forgot them
Youth makes you jump like crazy
I thought there was more love after yours
The Ramblas and the Spanish town, I look for you in any alley
And blue Picasso to keep you in my memory

[Chorus]
Like Siamese twins all month
We made base in Cadaqués
I was Dalí and you, my Gala in love
We left everything in its place to meet again
And distance won over wonder
Life never forgives you
Today no one knows about you in Barcelona
In Barcelona

[Chorus]
Like Siamese twins all month
We made base in Cadaqués
I was Dalí and you, my Gala in love
We left everything in its place to meet again
And distance won over wonder
Life never forgives you
Today no one knows about you in Barcelona
In Barcelona
