[Intro]
Ooh, ah-ah
Ooh, ah-ah, oh
Ah, ah, ah
Ooh, ah-ah
Ooh, ah-ah, oh
Ah, ah, ah
[Verse 1]
I'm freezing up, you're going down
You told me that I'd like it so stop freaking out
You said that if I open my mouth
And told a soul that it happened
You would talk about
[Pre-Chorus]
The way that I'd yell
And the way that I'd scream
But I don't think that compares to anything that you did to me
And if I knew what you'd have done
I don't think that I'd end up loving you this much
(Ah-ah) Love you this much
[Chorus]
You knew I'd hate it, I couldn't take it
Made me clean a mess you're making
I dug my own grave and climbed right in
You made me wash my skin off your skin
Doing all your dirty work as I sat right there
You knew it'd burn
Watching me watch you get off
Crying to ya, begging you to stop
[Post-Chorus]
Ooh-oh
Begging you to stop
Ooh-oh-oh
[Verse 2]
You built these walls around me
Locked me up at this party, but I wanna lеave
It's like when I'm half asleep
My mind is trying to gеt out, but I can't move a thing
[Pre-Chorus]
The way that I'd yell
And the way that I'd scream
You never had the right to blame me
I was young, mad and seventeen
And honestly, you'd cut me deep
But I never hurt you the way you'd hurt me
[Chorus]
You knew I'd hate it, I couldn't take it
Made me clean a mess you're making
I dug my own grave and climbed right in
Made me wash my skin off your skin
Doing all your dirty work as I sat right there
You knew it'd burn
Watching me watch you get off
Crying to ya, begging you to stop
[Outro]
My body aches, in here it's cold
So I lit the joint, I thought that the smoke
Would warm my body, cleanse my soul
You'd blame the drügs for bad self-control
And babe, you know that if the roles were reversed
You were burnt, I'd blow out the smoke
And make sure you were staying sober and home
