SORDO DE UN PIE (Interludio) Lyrics (English Translation) – Lucho RK

[Intro]
A kid—yeah, he was a bit clumsy, to be honest
But he had one thing going for him
A kid who, even when something bad happened
Was able to find something good in it, you know?

[Verse]
Beyond the truth of everything I know
Beyond all-or-nothing, my being lies somewhere in between
I can’t swear I won’t fall again
Life is a dance, and I’m deaf in one foot
I fell and got up, got up and then fell again

I grew fond of the ground, of knowing how to lose
Of knowing how to say no, of knowing what I don’t know
Of knowing life is short—just two days, and one spent writing to you
Of knowing the sun always rises, whether it rains or not
Of knowing time always moves forward and never turns back
I get so caught up in my phone, I forget to look around
And I’m getting worse at calling home every day
Oh, the irony—Mom and Dad, that’s on me
I was born a disaster, but I wouldn’t change a thing
No, no, no, no, I’ll never change
That’s how I was born, and that’s how I’ll die

[Chorus]
Deaf in one foot
Life is a dance, and I’m deaf in one foot
Life is a dance, and I’m deaf in one foot
Life is a dance, and I’m deaf in one foot
Yeah, yeah, deaf in one foot

[Outro]
Dad, Mom, and Luna
And there was this thing—he’d always, always see the moon during the day
He’d say “Nuna”—”look at the *nuna*,” with an ‘n’
And he’d always see it (Deaf in one foot)
