[Intro]
If you’re hoping and you’re searching
For a better kind of way

Oh, oh, oh, oh

[Verse 1: The Game & Jeezy]
Okay, now if I really gave a fu*k, I wouldn’t keep the laser tucked
And wouldn’t have wrote “Dreams” in my baby mama Mercedes truck

I’m working hard, I’m saving up, my mama said, “That ain’t enough”
I’m staying strong enough to pick the stroller and the baby up
She slammed the door in my face, man, she ain’t even say, “Good luck”
Sometimes it be the smallest thing that hurt you like a paper cup
My sister crying for me to stay, but, man, I’m like, “Stay for what?”
I’d rather be outsidе selling dope and leaning on thе gate with stuff
Me and RJ, forty ounces on the crate with us
Rival gangs drive by, but knowing not to play with us
We out here tryna get papered up, stay fresh as hell and tapered up
See, it’s blood on the leaves and we just tryna rake it up
Rapping like Snoop, he told me, “One day you gon’ make it, blood”
Back then I couldn’t see it, I swear to God, I almost gave it up
Weaving through the hood like a b!tch when she braided up
Playing Young Jeezy loud enough to wake the neighbors up (Haha, yeah)
Playing that Young Jeezy loud enough to wake the neighbors up (Ayy, damn)

[Chorus: The Game & Jeezy]
And if I got to say it again or go create it again
Just so I can say I made it again
I’d go through all the shootouts and get raided again
And watch my brother get shot and try to save him again
And I just ran into the cops again and my opps again
They tryna cut off n!gga’s oxygen
I’m tryna live, but they wanna see the opposite
Life after death, they can’t stop the pen, they can’t stop the pen (Haha)

Playing that Young Jeezy loud as fu*k and woke the baby up (Ayy, damn)

[Verse 2: The Game]
Well, I lost my baby mama ’cause I got hoes
They used to be in my socks, now they inside of my Rolls
I keep a key and a Glock, I’m Young Dolph in my soul
You know the killing never stop until the coffins is cold
How many n!ggas didn’t die that I grew up with?
Gang signs and my stomach how I threw up s*it
And I’m missing a couple screws, so I screw up s*it
I got signed at twenty-two and I blew up quick
It was Aftermath then, it’s still Aftermath now
Like Dr. Dre on the beat, yeah, I’m back with that sound
And they say I’m beefing with Kendrick, how the fu*k do that sound?
‘Cause I’m feeling like 50 when he made “Back Down”?
They say 50 made me, tell him make me again
I’ll kick myself out the group and make him hate me again
‘Cause I murder so much ink, it ain’t no making amends
That’s why I’m always by myself ’cause n!ggas can’t be a friend

[Chorus: The Game & Jeezy]
And if I got to say it again or go create it again
Just so I can say I made it again
I’d go through all the shootouts and get raided again
And watch my brother get shot and try to save him again
And I just ran into the cops again and my opps again
They tryna cut off n!gga’s oxygen
I’m tryna live, but they wanna see the opposite
Life after death, they can’t stop the pen, they can’t stop the pen (Haha)
Playing that Jeezy, blew the speakers out in the Mercedes truck (Ayy, damn)
