[Verse 1]
She’s in the fast lane, one way
Like a goodbye hurricane
Big city skyline going down
She’s like the sunset, burning red
Right foot full of lead
Cause she ain’t the only one pedaled down
Cause right now, yeah

[Chorus]
I’m doing 90 on a barstool, hundred proof
Letting the neon and the whiskey do what they do
Ain’t gonna let a little tore apart, go and start
Another rumor in this town
Put her name right in the ground
Yeah, tonight I’m going strong, ain’t blowing smoke
I’m taking the high road

[Verse 2]
Right now I can’t tell to well
If missing her and mad as hell
Will be waiting on me when I wake up
Til then I’ll just sit tight, enjoy the ride
Leave her leaving me behind
And I’m letting go of last call cloud of dust
Yeah, burn it up, burn it up

Yeah, I’m taking the high road

[Post-Chorus]

Yeah, I’m taking the high road
To see where it goes, let’s see where it goes

Yeah, I’m taking the high road

[Outro]
Yeah, I’m taking the high road
To see where it goes, let’s see where it goes
