Tell ‘Em About Tonight Lyrics – Luke Combs

[Verse 1]
Some day, these lights are gonna fade
Some other good old boy beyond mistake
And the only place you might see my name
Is on a t-shirt in a closet, taking up space
Yeah, someday, they won’t want to turn me up
And them reggaeton walls start to rust
What I’d never thought I do turns into what I’ve done
And I get to reminisicing with my time in the sun

[Chorus]
‘Bout the boys in the back with the beers up high

And the girls in the front row singing every line
I’m gon’ think about them lighters way in the sky
And how we rode that rocket as far as it could fly
Yeah, when somebody someday well down the line
Says, “Tell me something you’re proud of and you think about your life”
I’m gon’ tell ’em ’bout my kids, gon’ tell ’em ’bout my wife
And you damn right, I’m gon’ tell ’em ’bout tonight

[Verse 2]
I’ll think about guitars roaring out to space
Or cowboy boots stomping in the bleachers
And that feeling in the air like (??) live wire
Dreamers dancing in the dark with their hearts on fire

[Chorus]
And my boys in the back with the beers up high
And the girls in the front row singing every line
I’m gon’ think about them lighters way in the sky
And how we rode that rocket as far as it could fly
Yeah, when somebody someday well down the line
Says, “Tell me something you’re proud of and you think about your life”
I’m gon’ tell ’em ’bout my kids, gon’ tell ’em ’bout my wife
And you damn right, I’m gon’ tell ’em ’bout tonight

[Bridge]

Here’s to the boys in the back with beers up high
And the girls in the front row singing every line
I’m gon’ think about them lighters way in the sky
And how we rode that rocket as far as it could fly

[Chorus]
Hell, when somebody someday well down the line
Says, “Tell me something you’re proud of and you think about your life”
Gon’ tell ’em ’bout my kids, gon’ tell ’em ’bout my wife
And you damn right, I’m gon’ tell ’em ’bout tonight

[Outro]
Tell ’em ’bout tonight
Tell ’em ’bout tonight
Tell ’em ’bout tonight
