Carry the weight you are handed
Follow the path they demanded
Only you hold us together
Hold together
Hold together

But what if I let it break down
Let the pressure build up, break the bough
If I stopped looking in and look out
Better lookout
Better lookout

I’ll tear down all you built up
This weight is yours to lift love

I am a God I am chosen
Gave you this world and now I’ll see it broken
I hear the pleas from the churchless
Wreckages wrought in my name you deserve this
You’re crying help but it’s needless
Elevate me like a priestess
Now your life is fading
Hold onto that last shred hope and pray heaven is waiting

So I’ll tear it down
Walk and break the ground
Destroy the very thing that watches as I drown
Threw me around but I rebound
Regretting the way that you spoke now
Get ready
I’m coming
To tear it down

I’ll tear it down
I’ll tear it down
I’ll tear it down
I’ll tear it tear it down

Shoulders are free of the baggage
You’re no longer taking advantage
Too scared to speak up to the savage
I’m a savage
I can manage

My worth it is based on my own heart
Not based on the pressure you impart
What if the bruises are my mark
I’m an upstart
Can we restart

Useless, I am what’s broken
Don’t want your trust and I don’t want devotion
Once I would save, now I’m worthless
Worry is wrought on my face I can’t swerve this

You want a me that is long gone
All there is now is a swan-song
My breath is failing and now it’s just
Pain and destruction that I am exhaling

So I’ll tear it down
Walk and break the ground
Destroy the very thing that watches as I drown
Threw me around but I rebound
Regretting the way that you spoke now
Get ready
I’m coming
To tear it down

I’ll tear it down
I’ll tear it down
I’ll tear it down
I’ll tear it tear it down

This isn’t what I wanted
This isn’t what I wanted
This isn’t what I wanted
This isn’t what I
Ah!
Ah!

I’ll tear it down
Please take me down
I’ll tear it down
Please take me down
I’ll tear it down
Please take me down
I’ll tear it down
