OMAKASE is the third studio album by Puerto Rican artist Álvaro Díaz and marks a new creative phase centered on the Japanese “omakase” concept, where the creator guides the full experience. The project expands Díaz’s alternative urban sound while maintaining his introspective writing style and cinematic presentation.

The album contains sixteen tracks, including thirteen previously unreleased songs. Ahead of release, songs such as SELEDA, BABYRECORDS., and MALASNOTICIAS introduced the album’s atmosphere, blending emotional storytelling with contemporary Latin urban production.

Musical Style

OMAKASE continues Álvaro Díaz’s fusion of alternative reggaeton, Latin urban, melodic rap, and experimental pop influences. The project incorporates nostalgic references to classic reggaeton culture while introducing modern production textures and emotionally driven songwriting.
