The first serpent brings ruin
Shattering visions in its path
The second whispers death and violence
Vengeance, ancient wrath

Arrogance, ignorance and dying faith
As the third one rises, hybris is his name
Snakes in human form
Snakes in human form

Where seven serpents crawl

The fourth one reaps decay
Disintegration is its claim
The fifth serpent named prejudice chains hearts and minds astray
The sixth one’s name is sin, the seventh offers hate

As final liberation under darkened skies so grey
Snakes in human form
Snakes in human form

Where seven serpents crawl
Seven serpents crawl
Where seven serpents crawl
Seven serpents crawl

In heaven and beyond
Their hisses can be heard
Now hear the demons sing
Where seven serpents crawl

See them shed their skin, among the burning corpses
Vultures circle up above, apocalyptic horses
Beneath our feet they’re crawling forth to take away what freedom remains
What freedom remains

Where seven serpents crawl (Amor fati)

Seven serpents crawl (Amor fati)
Where seven serpents crawl (Amor fati)
Seven serpents crawl (Amor fati)

In heaven and beyond
Their hisses can be heard
Now feel them shed your skin
And all the demons sing
Where seven serpents crawl
