[Verse 1]
I would forget to breathe first
Please forgive me then, I mistook the path
I know I’ve left you in a hole
I would do you a favor, I would erase myself from your memories
Don’t be overwhelmed, there are stumbling blocks
And to tell the truth there are hundreds
Even if you only see clouds
You are the sun

[Chorus]
It’s cold in the dark
And there is no blanket that is capable of doing its job
It’s cold in the dark
Only with a ray of your light could I keep warm

[Verse 2]
Let me tell you a secret
I feel a little sad, but I still think of you
And even if I won’t see you fulfill your dreams
With love I leave you here a couple of my pieces of advice
Even if sometimes you’re afraid
You will succeed like on ice
You smile, let it serve as your engine

[Chorus]
It’s cold in the dark
And there is no blanket that is capable of doing its job
It’s cold in the dark darkness
Only with a ray of your light could I shelter myself

[Bridge]
Let me make some changes
Everything here is upside down
But everything is for what purpose
I know it’s not my role
I would like that role

[Chorus]
It’s cold in the dark
And there’s no blanket that’s capable of doing its job
This damn darkness
Only with a ray of your light could you kill me

[Outro]
It’s cold in the dark
And from afar I sing to you even though you can’t hear me
The darkness ends
If some spring, sitting at your piano, you sing about me
Hey!
