So now I gotta live with my regret
‘Til the day I die, I won’t forget
Before she walked out the door
She looked back at me and she said

“Baby, I don’t need a perfect man
‘Cause I’d have to be an angel
And that ain’t what I am”
There’s no such thing as a perfect man
Baby, don’t you go believe the one
Who says that he can
There’s no such thing as a perfect man
There’s no such thing as a perfect man
I wish I could forgive the things I’m not
And love the things I am
‘Cause there’s no such thing as a perfect man
If you find one smart I bet he won’t be funny
He might make more time, but I bet he don’t make money

‘Cause there’s no such thing as a perfect man
There’s no such thing as a perfect man
I looked her in the eyes and I said I was doing the best I can
And I’m never gonna be a perfect man
‘Cause there’s no such thing as a perfect man
