NO ME IMPORTA Lyrics (English Translation) – Lali

[Verse 1]
I’m not going to live in fear of being born
If I’m going to die, let it be later
I’m not going to stop for fear of running
I know they wish they could control me
I did everything I wanted to do
I’m everything I want to be when I grow up
And let nothing be the same as it was yesterday
I’m not going to change no matter how much they bark

[Pre-Chorus]
I know that all the buts have a reason

When I despair I know that we’re fine, fine

[Chorus]
I was never what they wanted from me
And I don’t care
There are always those who were there
The rest is unnecessary
And the things they can tell me
I don’t care anymore
Hey, oh, I speed up and go
Whenever they want, they know where I am

[Verse 2]
I’m not on the same corner as yesterday
But everyone knows where to find me
And if you see my face on a poster
It’s to make my mother proud
I haven’t seen you for a long time
But none of that can erase you
I have my place tattooed on the skin
I made this song so I don’t forget

[Pre-Chorus]
I know that all the buts have a reason
When I despair I know that we are fine, fine

[Chorus]
I was never what they wanted from me
And I don’t care
There are always those who were there
The rest is unnecessary
And the things they can say to me
I don’t care anymore
Hey, oh, I speed up and go
Whenever they want, they know where I am

[Outro]
I was never what they wanted from me
And I don’t care
There are always those who were there
The rest is unnecessary
And the things they can say to me
I don’t care anymore (Hey)
Hey, oh, I speed up and go
Whenever they want, they know where I am
