[Verso 1]
Life’s hit me so hard that I don’t push no more
I look better on Instagram, that’s for sure
I don’t chase fame anymore or the girls I could score
Now I understand that Christ was the path all along
Now they hug me, I can feel the euphoria
Others say I’m nobody, their envy’s so obvious
They talk about me like I’m nothing but garbage
And always want my friendship just to borrow my story
I wanna go back to the days when I hated waking up
Yeah, those days when all I had to do was study enough
When my mother’s love was always more than enough

Not like now when she says, “So when are you leaving us?”
I don’t have peace of mind, I fight the moon every night
I say I miss self-love, not somebody holding me tight
I feel vulnerable, like a baby lying in a crib
But I can’t even cry, and that’s the deepest wound there is
Rejections, depressions
A smile on my face
Dreams up in the sky but I got no way to that place
Demons in my ear and nobody drives them away
I’m falling apart inside, but I’m smiling every day
I never had a family, and correct me if I’m wrong
My childhood was rough, like sandpaper all along
My grandma yelling, “Stiven fought again at school, my girl”
My parents’ love was over when the wedding ring got pawned
Now my soul puts its trust in neither one
My friend is Judas, my brother wasn’t who I thought he’d become

[Coro]
But when I find myself alone with nowhere to run
No matter how broken my heart may become
My mind will stay positive
Dreaming awake in the daylight

[Verso 2]
’Cause envy is what’s eating you alive

’Cause jealousy is what’s taking your life
You’d rather see me with nothing to my name
Than go out and earn your own money and survive
You know what I’m saying?
Understand what I mean
I don’t know why my success makes me your enemy
You wanna see me on the ground, you wanna see me suffer
And you betray me for money like Figo did at Barça
Here’s a toast to you, I hope that envy makes you better
I got no scars left, all the bruises healed forever
I’m a warrior, I run marathons through haters
But now I’m waiting for a son, and he heals all my emotions
He brings me peace, he calms me down, lets me breathe
I just want you to arrive, my son, I’m waiting patiently

[Outro]
You know what I’m saying?
Do you understand what I mean?
I don’t know why my success makes me your enemy
You wanna see me on the ground, you wanna see me suffer in defeat
