Medal of Honor Lyrics – French Montana

[Chorus: Vic Martin & French Montana]
I wear my heart on my sleeve, these tears can grow trees
I done seen things that y’all wouldn’t believe
This is my Medal of Honor
My Purple Heart medal
I’m from a place where the good die young
The scars are from wars I’ve won
This is my Medal of Honor
God knows I’ve fought harder
Medal of Honor
You know we deserve those
Oh, God knows I’ve fought far (Montana Reese)

This is my Medal of Honor
My Purple Heart medal (Haan)

[Verse 1: French Montana]
Montana learned to build empires from the floor
Whеn you keeping it the realest, it don’t comе with no war
We do it just because ’cause only God can judge us
Loyal to the streets when we know we don’t love us
Medal of Honor’s when you feed the beast and eat the least
Gotta keep the piece just to keep the peace
Seen some things that can never be told
Word to Khalani, you will never see me fold
Trade the old for the new ’cause I’m new to the old
Middle of the summer, seen bodies turn cold
Fill that pot of gold, M’s to be sold
Now I told Montana, “We already know”

[Chorus: Vic Martin & French Montana]
I wear my heart on my sleeve, these tears can grow trees
I done seen things that y’all wouldn’t believe
This is my Medal of Honor
My Purple Heart medal
I’m from a place where the good die young
The scars are from wars I’ve won
This is my Medal of Honor

God knows I’ve fought harder
Oh, God knows I’ve fought far
This is my Medal of Honor
My Purple Heart medal (Haan)

[Verse 2: French Montana]
I’m from the boulevard of broken dreams
Carlos Montana, had to pull the strings
Gotta scramble just to get it
Rumbling for the Cullinan, it was a Civic
‘Fore I rapped, I had to live it
Heart on my sleeve, brown bags in my pocket
Montana in the summer, gotta hit ’em with a rocket
Ain’t no mercy for the weak, gotta keep praying
You know we play for keeps, so tell ’em, “Keep playing”

[Chorus: Vic Martin]
I wear my heart on my sleeve, these tears can grow trees
I done seen things that y’all wouldn’t believe
This is my Medal of Honor
My Purple Heart medal
I’m from a place where the good die young
The scars are from wars I’ve won
This is my Medal of Honor
God knows I’ve fought harder
Oh, God knows I’ve fought far
This is my Medal of Honor
My Purple Heart medal
