[Verse 1]
He feel marvellous
He wrote the man and he feel marvellous
Just sound, he’s seventeen, he got that dog in him
I used to see him in my church, he was his (??)
We know this kid for kicking ball and he was hard
He could have made it professional, had a trial
We told him he got charms
My God
We said the streets are not nice
He said, “Let’s see”
He’s tryna take a trip and put it to the test

He’s tryna turn (??) a half into a nine
Divide that s*it into decimals, make it stretch
First time I ever met him, I said he’s blessed
But if he can’t even keep it real with himself
I’m not shocked if he’s lying to me
Ask my own boy what he’s trying to be

[Chorus]
And he don’t want a good girl, he want a wh*re
He don’t want a good joke, he want a gun
And he don’t wanna kick ball, he wanna bun
And he don’t wanna make friends, he wanna gang
And he don’t wanna stack bread, he wanna bang
How my young boy so different?
I don’t know but I pray that God guide him
How my young boy so different?
I don’t know but I pray

[Verse 2]
He feel incredible
He shot a man, he feel incredible
Just started trapping twenty-two until he’s terrible
He wanna travel to the States, he’s ineligible
Said he’s a criminal
Now he’s doing numbers on his phone, got youngings of his own

A Glock the mandem bought him and a Russian of his own
He’s got some paigens that he beefs, evading the police
Been going crazy from the day he got released

[Verse 3]
‘Cause now he’s in the Cali weed, grab a leaf
Coke chain, Hennessy
Robberies, bank fraud
OT enemies
He fu*k with Aliah, fu*king Lisa, Stephanie
And he got some cases we don’t know if can ever beat
And he look at us like be some people he could never be
We should have never made our youngings hold a .17
All I ever wanted was for you to be a better you
All I ever wanted was for you to be a better me
Fu*k about a salary, just (??) smoking celery
Started recreationally, but now they do it medically
It’s weighing on me, that s*it weighing on me heavily
I think about it regularly, just sizing the jailhouse
In penitentiary with charges that were meant for me
Facing time potentially, but he was just protecting me
Before he think to step to me, just know my younging next to me
Will God knows

[Chorus]
He don’t want a good girl, he want a wh*re
He don’t want a good joke, he want a gun (He don’t want a good joke, he want a)
And he don’t wanna kick ball, he wanna bun
And he don’t wanna make friends, he wanna gang (He don’t wanna make friends, he wanna)
And he don’t wanna stack bread, he wanna bang
How my young boy so different?
I don’t know but I pray that God guide him
How my young boy so different?
I don’t know but I pray
