Hartwell Lyrics – Shelly

[Intro]
I’m recording this, um, while drinking a Baja Blast
So bear with me
Okay, ready?

[Verse 1]
Moving forward so I can bring it back
I’ve been awake for hours, I keep getting off track
I used to call my mom from New York to Atlanta and say

[Refrain]
I wanna swim in the lake that I grew up in

Wanna spend half the day high in Boston Common
Wanna do all the things I said I’d do when I got to college

[Verse 2]
Driving past the fountain by the alley
Where I’d wait for hours for you to come and get me
Used to call my dad from L.A. to Chicago and say

[Refrain]
I wanna smoke in the room that I grew up in
Wanna spend half the day high in my apartment
Wanna do all the things I said I’d do when I got to college
