Description

Wave Gods 2: Cosmos Brothers marks the reunion of French Montana and Max B, continuing a creative partnership that helped shape the “wave” aesthetic associated with melodic street rap and late-2000s New York mixtape culture. The project arrives as a sequel to the influential Wave Gods era and reconnects both artists after years of separate activity and Max B’s return to active recording.

The album carries the identity of the earlier Coke Wave movement while presenting a modern continuation of that sound. Early revealed material indicates guest participation beyond the two principal artists, with appearances attached to preview tracks and promotional releases.

Musical Style

The project is expected to blend melodic rap structures, atmospheric production, conversational hooks, luxury-rap themes and the loose “wave” style historically associated with Max B. French Montana’s polished delivery and mainstream rap approach are positioned alongside Max B’s melodic phrasing and ad-lib driven style.

The album continues the legacy established by the earlier Wave Gods and Coke Wave releases, combining street-rap foundations with melodic elements and collaborative features.
