Reflections Lyrics & Tracklist – From Ashes to New

From Ashes to New has officially announced the release of their fifth studio album, Reflections. Set to arrive on April 17, 2026, via Better Noise Music, the project serves as the highly anticipated follow-up to their 2023 breakthrough record, Blackout. The album marks a significant milestone in the band’s evolution, featuring 12 tracks that showcase a refined and more powerful iteration of their signature sound.

The creative process for Reflections involved a rigorous period of development. According to founding member Matt Brandyberry, the band initially demoed a full album’s worth of material but chose to scrap most of those ideas to push their musical boundaries further. The resulting body of work is described as an intentional escalation of the band’s core strengths, focusing on polished production and emotionally resonant lyricism.

Musical Style and Themes

Musically, Reflections continues the band’s high-energy fusion of nu metal, alternative rock, rap, and electronic music. The album balances aggressive, detuned guitar riffs with melodic choruses and heavy electronic soundscapes. Lyrically, the record explores themes of personal introspection, the dangers of modern social trends, and the internal struggle between light and dark. The lead singles—”New Disease,” “Drag Me,” and “Villain”—illustrate this range, moving from social commentary to intense, dark explorations of the human psyche.
