ENEMY. Lyrics – Talia Mar

[Verse 1]
Neither one of us backing down
So right now, I gotta go low
Only one of us has the confidence
That’s the s*it and you don’t
I wrote 300, 3 years ago
And that’s black and white, the MO
Those suits are made of sheep’s clothes
You started this, so let’s go

[Pre-Chorus]
You only wanted me for your circus

If you could train me, I wouldn’t bite
But the second that I noticed, oh

[Chorus]
That makes me the enemy
That makes me the enemy
By wanting what’s best for me
That makes me the enemy

[Verse 2]
Gun loaded, where do I start?
I could blacklist your names in a drop
I’m power hungry, so keep all your money
You’ll block me, then watch me go off
Next I’m addressing the crowd
Guess why the music I made don’t come out
Guess why they chained me to dance tracks
Discography hijacked
So I bit the hand and got out

[Pre-Chorus]
You only wanted me for your circus
If you could train me, I wouldn’t bite
But the second that I noticed, oh

[Chorus]
That makes me the enemy
That makes me the enemy
That makes me the enemy
By wanting what’s best for me
That makes me the enemy
That makes me the enemy
(We’re not the same)
That makes me the enemy
(I’ll watch you fade)
By wanting what’s best for me
(How does it taste, that look on your face)
That makes me the enemy
(I’ll drop the names)
You made an enemy
