[Intro: Benny the Butcher]
If I was in the same position I was in ten years ago
Y’all would be looking at me crazy, am I lying?
The goal was to elevate
(Moose Tarantino)
I don’t wanna hear no excuses from nobody
If I did it, anybody could do it
True s*it, though

[Chorus: Benny the Butcher]
On my way to reach a higher level
On my way to catch a bigger bag
On my way to my favorite trap house
He don’t call it, but he hit the glass
Coc*ine music, shoutout to Gotti
Show in Poland, take the Wock’ like I’m Yachty
On my way to stack a clean two-fifty
Black Sopranos back to clean up the city
On my way to another ticket
On my way to a higher calling
On my way to a higher purpose
But I pray I never get tired of balling
On my way to the Hall of Famе
Man, I got here getting all this gamе
On my way to a clean two-fifty
Black Sopranos back to clean up the city (Ah)

[Verse 1: Benny the Butcher]
2017 I was on my face
2020 thought I caught a break
You know corporate s*it, back when COVID hit
Then our office switch from RCA
Spent another two years independent
And I still had everything that I need
Tryna tell myself I’m only hustling
Is it really that, or is it greed?
You can’t tell me ’bout no s*it you ain’t lived

You can’t talk about no judge you ain’t face
You can’t tell me ’bout that bullet I ate
How you gon’ tell me ’bout them bricks you ain’t take?
Feel I’ve been dope since ’01, sorry
Gas from Snoop Dogg, clothes from Barneys
Champagne toast at a 1 OAK party
I’m seeing s*it like Coach Lombardi
Streets is a spell, they go to YALE
Still don’t get what the dope man made
Uptown n!ggas like K.P.J
And down the way, n***** like Dope Man Dave
I’m the one with all the hoes and chains
Cooking dope on an open flame
I’m the one who made you think you could do it
I’m the one who start exposing game
N***** use street code like it’s an excuse
Make a million, you supposed to change
I showed my OG this new whip I got
He said I’m coming how we ‘posed to came
All that gangster s*it go out the window
You know what’s up, heard you told some things
Save that rich talk for them lil’ hoes
Plugged in, I know you owe some change

[Chorus: Benny the Butcher]
On my way to reach a higher level
On my way to catch a bigger bag
On my way to my favorite trap house
He don’t call it, but he hit the glass
Coc*ine music, shoutout to Gotti
Show in Poland, take the Wock’ like I’m Yachty
On my way to stack a clean two-fifty
Black Sopranos back to clean up the city
On my way to another ticket
On my way to a higher calling
On my way to a higher purpose
But I pray I never get tired of balling
On my way to the Hall of Fame
Man, I got here getting all this game
On my way to a clean two-fifty (Yeah, yeah)
Black Sopranos back to clean up the city (Yo, uh, ah)

[Verse 2: Benny the Butcher]
I got family who feel like I don’t love ’em
I help them but they feel like I could do more
Know some n***** who feel like I can’t touch ’em
Don’t be too sure, don’t let us get bored
Why do these blessings come with these unanswered questions at night?
That’s what I ask the Lord
That little paper, they hate on me for
Just be s*it I toss around in Dior
People I know who been down this road
They see where I’m at and say I’m at a fork
You don’t leave ’em back, it’s gon’ hurt you more
That’s what the fu*k you gotta do to move forward
Granted, know I’m only here for a short
Scramblers know what I did for the sport
I’m Montana’s own
But you can call me Indiana Jones ’cause I carry the torch

[Chorus: Benny the Butcher]
On my way to reach a higher level
On my way to catch a bigger bag
On my way to my favorite drop house
He don’t call it, but he hit the glass
Coc*ine music, shoutout to Gotti
Show in Poland, take the Wock’ like I’m Yachty
On my way to stack a clean two-fifty
Black Sopranos back to clean up the city
On my way to another ticket
On my way to a higher calling
On my way to a higher purpose
But I pray I never get tired of balling
On my way to the Hall of Fame
Man, I got here getting all this game
On my way to a clean two-fifty
Black Sopranos back to clean up the city (Ah)

[Outro: Benny the Butcher]
I’m on my way, n**]
That’s why I say “The Butcher coming, n****”
‘Cause I’ma always be on my way
