[Verse 1]
Gave myself an alibi
That it’s easy to say goodbye
I know in matters of the heart
I’m a devil in disguise
Never had an argument
I just turned away from your light
You know I was hiding from the darker days
All my life

[Pre-Chorus]
And I was out of my senses like usual
Stunned by your brightness
And every mistake that I made was the last one
Yet you still fight for us

[Chorus]
I know it’s not easy to love me
But I’m yours if you want me
I know it’s not easy to love me
But I’m yours so complete
I try to soak up all the water
You had to wade through just to reach me
I know it’s not easy to love me

[Verse 2]
You show me beautiful tapestries, clutching at threads
While I contemplate my words, still holding my breath
Thank God for your hand always reaching for mine
‘Cause I can’t see straight, let alone in your eyes

[Pre-Chorus]
Maybe I’m too much for you
All the questions, they hurt my head
Finally found something true
I might lose, but you know I’ll be there

[Chorus]
I know it’s not easy to love me
But I’m yours if you want me
I know it’s not easy to love me
But I’m yours so complete
I try to soak up all the water
You had to wade through just to reach me
I know it’s not easy to love me

[Pre-Chorus]
The way you can move me to softness in hell
Forever in debt
And these arms made of glass will be holding you
When you need it

[Chorus]
I know I’m not easy, easy to love
Oh and I know it’s not easy, easy to love me
Yeah, I try to drink up all of the water
You had to wade through just to reach me
I wanna make it easy to love me
