[Verse 1]
Everyone dies, so the story goes
No one’s here to stay
So what are you gonna do today?
Everyone cries, everyone knows
And everyone goes away
What are you gonna do today?

[Chorus]
‘Cause the sun‘s calling your name
And the stars would love to see you dance again, oh-oh
And there’s so much life to live
And plenty of words and songs still left to give, oh-oh

[Verse 2]
Laid up in bed, laid up alone
Feeling a shade of grey
So what are you gonna do today?
Thoughts in your head, heavy as stone
No one knows how much thеy weigh
What are you gonna do today?

[Chorus]
‘Cause thе sun’s calling your name
And the stars would love to see you dance again
And there’s so much life to live
And there’s plenty of words and songs still left to give

[Bridge]
You were just a kid back then, just trying to find your place
I know it’s hard to start again when you’ve lost everything

[Chorus]
‘Cause the sun’s calling your name
And the stars would love to see you dance again
And there’s so much life to live
And there’s plenty of words and songs still left to give
