[Verse 1]
I’d like to think that we were good at the start
Before I saw that you were playing a part
What a time, what a line, what a scene
What a fool that you made out of me

[Pre-Chorus]
Oh, I, I missed it, I missed the red flags
The signs, so cryptic, too much to unpack
It’s fine, I fixed it, I only look back sometimes
‘Cause I
[Chorus]
Wish I left you right where I found you
Wish I still knew nothing about you
Wish I could go back to the way I was
I liked me more before I knew you
Used to think we’re two in a billion
Now I need a second opinion
Wish I could go back to the way I was
I liked me more before I knew you

[Verse 2]
I tried so hard to be your somebody else
You liked me small enough to fit on your shelf
What a pro, selling me, jealously
What a fool, that you made, out of me

[Pre-Chorus]
Oh, I, I missed it, I missed the red flags
The signs, so cryptic, too much to unpack
It’s fine, I fixed it, I only look back sometimes
‘Cause I (Woah, woah)

[Chorus]
Wish I left you right where I found you
Wish I still knew nothing about you

Wish I could go back to the way I was (Oh)
I liked me more before I knew you
Used to think we’re two in a billion
Now I need a second opinion
Wish I could go back to the way I was
I liked me more before I knew you

[Outro]
Me before, me before I knew, I knew
Me before, me before I knew, I knew
Me before, me before I knew, I knew
I liked me more before I knew you
Me before, me before I knew, I knew
Me before, me before I knew, I knew
