[Verse 1: Robert, Nestor]
Hey, Nestor
Please pick up your toys
I’m gonna use them later
Is that orange from last week?
Yeah, don’t be a hater
This room is a mess
I’m just a decorator
Suit yourself
Can you help me peel this thing, sir?
Nestor, I think you need a bath
No, thanks
But there’s dirt all over you
It’ll happen again anyway
I can see your muddy footsteps
They look nice
Well, you have to clean it up
Because, why?
What do you mean, why?

[Chorus: Nestor]
I’m asking you, because, why?
There’s not a single reason I can find
It’s gonna happen again anyway
So I don’t wanna waste my time
I’m asking you, because, why?
I haven’t done any crime
What’s the meaning of cleaning
When there are better ways to spend my time?

[Verse 2: Robert, Rabbert]
Rabbert, it’s time to wake up
My dream’s not finished
It’s almost noon
Just five more minutes
You have to brush your teeth
No, thanks, I’ll skip it

Time for breakfast
I’ll take sugar on a biscuit
Please put away your cups
I’ll do it later
They’ve been soaking there for days
Don’t be a hater
Please, Rabbert, you’re making a mess
That’s just life
The sink is too full, it’s gross
Because, why?
What do you mean, why?

[Chorus: Nestor & Rabbert, Rabbert]
I’m asking you, because, why?
There’s not a single reason I can find
It’s gonna happen again anyway
So I don’t wanna waste my time
I’m asking you (You), because, why?
I haven’t done any crime
What’s the meaning of cleaning
When there are better ways to spend my time?

[Bridge: Mold, Nestor & Rabbert, Nestor]
You created life for me
Me and my mold family
We have hopes and we have dreams
All because you didn’t clean

We can live in harmony
Our people spread our love and peace
We sing,

We can live in harmony
Our people spread our love and peace
We sing,

Ew
That smells disgusting

[Chorus: Nestor & Rabbert]
I’m telling you, this is why?
Not gonna lie, you changed my mind
It’s gonna happen again anyway
But it’s still not a waste of time
I’m telling you, this is why
There’s so many reasons I can find
It’s the meaning of cleaning
And the reason is because why
