[Verse 1]
From the backseat
Watch it roll by slow
Perfectly controlled
I’m on empty
And my bloodshot eyes
Are following the light

[Pre-Chorus]
So stay with me
I don’t even like your company
I just wanted you to comfort me

While I keep my eyes on the road

[Chorus]
So take my picture, my picture, picture
You told me I’m the one you wanted, you really wanted
But you don’t love me like I love you, I don’t believe you
I take the keys and I’m gone
And when I’m driving, I’m really driving
I’m driving fast because I mean it, I really mean it
I think I’m done with all the speeches, way from the bleachers
Don’t wanna hear ’em no more
Like, from the backseat

[Post-Chorus]
From the backseat, from the backseat, from the backseat
From the backseat, from the backseat, from the backseat

[Verse 2]
You see it all so clear
You wanna take the wheel

[Pre-Chorus]
You stay with me
But you don’t even like my company
I’ll give you another soul to squeeze

While I keep my eyes on the road

[Chorus]
So take my picture, my picture, picture
You told me I’m the one you wanted, you really wanted
But you don’t love me like I love you, I don’t believe you
I take the keys and I’m gone
And when I’m driving, I’m really driving
I’m driving fast because I mean it, I really mean it
I think I’m done with all the speeches, way from the bleachers
Don’t wanna hear ’em no more
Like, from the backseat

[Post-Chorus]
From the backseat, from the backseat, from the backseat (From the backseat)
From the backseat, from the backseat, from the backseat
(Driving from the backseat)
From the backseat, from the backseat, from the backseat
(Driving from the backseat)
From the backseat, from the backseat, from the backseat
(Hey, driving from the backseat)
Whoo!
