[Intro: Brooklyn Youth Chorus]
Dry those eyes, hanging on
Through the tears, sing yourself a song
Come back home
Buddy, I remember who you are
Who you are

[Verse 1]
I’ve known my sisters for a lifetime
I count my lucky stars that I have them
‘Cause everyday, they’re a lifeline
An inspiration just to be a better man, that’s the truth

I’d lay my life down on the line for you, that’s the truth, yeah
Sisters made a better brother

[Chorus: Djo, with Emma Keery, Kate Keery & Caroline Keery]
When life’s plan
Isn’t shining through
You understand
You help me see it through
So, you can count on me
I’m leaning back on you

[Post-Chorus]
Hit it, Wes!
Right

[Verse 2]
Now, when the rain started falling
I had to close my eyes to keep myself from washing away
But in the dark backseat, I heard something
It was you telling me “I got your back any day, my friend, my man”
He’s unlike any other
I used to say I didn’t have a brother
Well, I guess I can’t say it anymore

[Chorus: Djo, with Emma Keery, Kate Keery & Caroline Keery]

Things get hard
You don’t know what to do
Well I’ve got friends
Who never spin the truth
And they can trust in me
Yeah, I’m leaning back on you
Get knocked down
Down, down, down
You’re nursing black and blues
Well, there’s that smile
Oh, it’s just a missing tooth
‘Cause you believe in me
I’m leaning back on you

[Post-Chorus]
Yeah, hit it!

[Outro: Djo, Emma Keery & Kate Keery]
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Tell ’em
Yeah, it’s easy!
It’s not hard, not hard!
Leaning back on you
There’s my man, there’s my man
Leaning back on you
Hey, hey, hey, hey
Tell ’em
Leaning back on you
Leaning back on you
Leaning back on you
Leaning back on
Yeah
