[Verse 1: Ragnar Þórhallsson]
I guess I like the pain more than I like my health
I guess I sometimes sing to try and help myself
I’m trying not to smile, I’m trying hard to laugh
I tell myself this, I tell myself that
“Love isn’t the calm, no, love isn’t the still”
Walking with the wind to try and catch a thrill
I can see the steeple brush against the sky
I see the place where we said our goodbyes

[Chorus: Ragnar Þórhallsson]
Yeah, it’s a slow, slow break
A hard, hard shake
Slow, slow break
A hard, hard shake
Yeah, it’s a slow, slow break
A hard, hard shake
Slow, slow break
A hard, hard shake

[Verse 2: Ragnar Þórhallsson, Nanna & Ragnar]
If I was lightning, I would miss the tree
If I wasn’t writing, I would miss the key
If I only wanted darkness, I’d hide under a rock
I’d never go out, I’d stay at the block
Why do I always fly when I don’t have my wings?
Why do I collide with the world around me?
I guess I’m alright
I want you to sleep on the good side of me

[Chorus: Ragnar & Nanna]
Yeah, it’s a slow, slow break
A hard, hard shake
Slow, slow break
A hard, hard shake
Yeah, it’s a slow, slow break
A hard, hard shake

Slow, slow break
A hard, hard shake

[Bridge: Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir]
So, I don’t know what I’m doing here
I woke up this spring and now I’m past the frame
I gotta get away from here
To outer space
Even if I could hold my breath
Like a balloon, float and disappear
I hope I make my way to you
Some brighter day

[Outro: Nanna]
Wrong step, right turn
Wrong step, right turn
I want you to sleep on the good side of me
