[Chorus]
You’re acting misunderstood
The man that never knew good
You play the victim so well
Like more than I ever could
You’re asking me for a kiss
While poison spills from your lips
‘Cause, baby, your mouth is lethal
You’re not sad, you’re just evil

[Verse 1]
You say you’re battling demons

I think it takes one to know one
Mix drinks with all of your problems
Let out the monster when you’re drunk
You held my heart in your two hands
Then crushed it like it was nothing
You’re sad I’m changing up the plans
You should have seen this one coming

[Pre-Chorus]
Thought I saw love in your eyes
Turns out it was mine
My own reflection (Oh)

[Chorus]
You’re acting misunderstood
The man that never knew good
You play the victim so well
Like more than I ever could
You’re asking me for a kiss
While poison spills from your lips
‘Cause, baby, your mouth is lethal
You’re not sad, you’re just evil

[Post-Chorus]
You’re not sad, you’re just evil

You’re not sad, sad

[Verse 2]
You keep a yes-man around you
Shoot lies right into your ear
Searching for someone who wronged you
Baby, just look in the mirror
You’re always making me feel small
You think you’re better than me
I used to think you were special
But what made you special was me

[Chorus]
You’re acting misunderstood
The man that never knew good
You play the victim so well
Like more than I ever could
You’re asking me for a kiss (Oh)
While poison spills from your lips
‘Cause, baby, your mouth is lethal
You’re not sad, you’re just evil

[Post-Chorus]
You’re not sad, you’re just evil
Thought I saw love in your eyes
Turns out it was mine
My own reflection, mm
So I’ll say my goodbyes
I’ll never get why
You’re not sad, you’re just evil
So fu*king evil
