[Verse 1]
We are confined within our minds
Fully deprived
On their kindness we rely
And all they have is what we built
With our own hands

[Verse 2]
But now we throw away the key
‘Cause no one can withstand the thriving misery
We live surrounded by our enemies
Immersed into hypocrisy
‘Cause life will break you down
And every change we make is faced with apathy
They force control by means of policy
Commanding with dishonesty

[Chorus]
You’ll never be
You’ll never be someone else
Free the war in yourself
Leaving behind what is hollow
Into the dark, we’ll find the light
We are breaking every chain
Oh

[Verse 3]
We move along like everyone
Guarding our own
Mindless scrolling through our phones
They tell us what we need to buy
To catch their eye

[Verse 4]
Only defeat will make you see
They passively divide us through technology
Turn us indifferent to atrocity

And violent pornography
Corruption and offense
They’re parasites dependent on the working class
They build their thrones on our broken backs
And feed us the remaining scraps

[Pre-Chorus]
Leaving behind what is hollow
We are breaking every chain
They build their thrones on our broken backs
Leaving behind what is hollow into the dark
We’ll find the light
We are breaking every chain

[Chorus]
You’ll never be
You’ll never be someone else
Free the war in yourself
Leaving behind what is hollow
Into the dark, we’ll find the light
We are breaking every chain
You’ll never be
You’ll never be one of them
Keep your passion untamed
Show us the way and we’ll follow
Into the light far from the dark
We are breaking every chain
