[Verse 1]
Looks pure to me
There’s a light I see, yeah
Won’t you come with me?
Still placed on the side of the knife
I could sharpen my mind
And light up
That’s my touch
We’re alive
But I missed you for the longest time (Time)
When you are away, I couldn’t take it at all
No, I was not alright
Whenever you’re coming back
Just make sure that you’re coming back to me
Save it up and see, yeah
Do what you do
You can run away
But the less I see you
More I’m feeling pain, oh yeah
Sending me wondering
Make me your defender
I’ll be the one that’s not going anywhere
There’s a side they’ll never see, no, no, wait

[Pre-Chorus]
I hope we’re never there again
I didn’t like it much, my friend
We can work on what we have here
But we can just play pretend
I’ll try it, but before I choose to go
Won’t you let me know?

[Chorus]
Are you coming with me baby?
Will you hold my hand?
We fell in love by accident
We never made a plan

We went the long way ’round
It finally made sense
I love you more than ever
I don’t care what anyone says
Stay with me in real life
Not only in my head
You look so pure to me
So baby, let’s just go ahead
(Go ahead, go ahead, go ahead)

[Verse 2]
So you look pure to me
You’re the light I need
You’ll be laying with me
And I’m still placed in the seat beside you
Staying right here feels sublime
Tryna be present these days
But I’m always contemplating
Open up on a daily
Might repeat what I’m saying
Predictable, but I’ll be your companion
Make me the one that’s all yours in every way
Show a side that only I know, my babe

[Pre-Chorus]
We’ve been through some more than I would ever choose to take
But honestly I wouldn’t want it any other way
And all we have is right now
It’s just you and I, some place
We could leave without a trace (Let ’em know)

[Chorus]
Are you coming with me baby?
Will you hold my hand?
We fell in love by accident
We never made a plan
We got to upside down
And it didn’t make much sense
But I love you more than ever
Would never go through that again
Stay with me, now if you please
Now, put this song to bed
You are so pure to me
And that’s all
