[Verse 1]
Rose’s just comming again, I heard her knock up the door
A dead bouquet of flowers scattered over the floor
Blow the wind, burn the candle out, there’s a change in the wind
Wake me up in a thousand years ’cause it’s down season again

[Chorus]
In down season, all the tears are in my eyes
It’s down season and it’s coming for you
And in down season, baby, you’ll never win
Come on, come on, come on, come on, it’s down season again, ha
[Post-Chorus]
La-la, la-la-la

[Verse 2]
Send the hanging line in, clip the rose at the stem
Nurse told me that I’ll never grow without my medicine
Instead of fighting the heaviness, I’ll just run as he said
Wake me up when I’m beautiful, ut’s down season again

[Chorus]
In down season, all the tears are in my eyes
It’s down season and it’s coming for you
And in down season, baby, you’ll never win
Come on, come on, come on, come on, it’s down season again

[Bridge]
Every year there comes a time to blow your head and take it
No escaping from my mind, I might as well embrace it
Oh, my God

[Chorus]
In down season, all the tears are in my eyes
It’s down season and it’s coming for you
In down season, baby, you’ll never win
Come on, come on, come on, come on, it’s down season again, hey

[Outro]
Down season
Down season, give me to me, yeah
Down season
I don’t wanna get lost again
It’s down season again
