[Intro]
No borrowed shine or 24-karat rings
Choose what deepens over time, cha-ching
Never chase the fleeting things (I'm the finest thing)
[Verse 1]
Never in the common ways
Have I chased a lesser grace
Look at me, look at me, look at me
Want nothing fleeting to chase (Oh)
[Pre-Chorus]
Call it, keep it, feel it, let it all stay (All stay)
Sign it, seal it, let it deepen all day
The worth of devotion, I know it, yeah
So choose the things that last
[Chorus]
No borrowed shine or 24-karat rings
Choose what deepens over time, cha-ching
Never chase thе fleeting things (I'm the finest thing)
Like thе sweet scent in the air
It will linger till the end, cha-ching
Never chase the fleeting things (I'm the finest thing)
[Post-Chorus]
I'm the finest thing
I'm the finest thing
[Verse 2]
Never let the moment fade
I have built what time has made
Look at me, look at me, look at me
See what is worth it (Oh)
[Pre-Chorus]
Hold it, love it, mean it, let it all stay (All stay)
Build it, bind it, make it grow all the way
The strength of devotion, I feel it, yeah
So build the things that last
[Chorus]
No borrowed shine or 24-karat rings
Choose what deepens over time, cha-ching
Never chase the fleeting things (I'm the finest thing)
Like the sweet scent in the air
It will linger till the end, cha-ching
Never chase the fleeting things (I'm the finest thing)
[Post-Chorus]
I'm the finest thing
I'm the finest thing

About This Song
“FINEST THING” serves as the opening track on RESCENE’s fourth EP, *PULSE*. This release represents the group's inaugural fully original English song and their second English track overall. A preview of the song showcases a Contemporary R&B rhythm, with co-composition and arrangement handled by the British production duo Billen Ted.
The previewed lyrics focus on themes of enduring self-worth, genuineness, and the rejection of shallow materialism. Instead of gauging value through ostentatious belongings or fleeting fads, the track champions internal depth and a lasting presence as true luxury.
