UPGRADE Lyrics (English Translation) – NCT WISH

[Intro]
Uh?
Okay
The robot’s back again, eh
Dive into the virtual world, yeah

[Verse 1]
Yeah, I twist the dimension that was so dull
Opening a totally different world—new code
Alt-tabbing amidst the accelerating tempo
They’re too slow, right?
Spreading everywhere

In ways no one expected
Reaching even the smallest cracks
The beat surges on—beat on—an overturned error

[Pre-Chorus]
(Ooh) Yeah, you got dash
It’s just the same old boring routine
(Ooh) Neon-colored logic
Shaking you up all day long
All day I know—wherever you are
It’ll take your breath away (I know)
Got it coming up to you
We got that

[Chorus]
Up-up-up-upgrade
Up-up-up-upgrade
Watch closely, we gon’ make
Twisting the boundaries, break it all
Up-up-up-upgrade
Up-up-up-upgrade
A new wave is etched in
Gonna be what you need, don’t you know?
[Post-Chorus]
Change up the vibe
Yeah, a fresh new pace

Reload right now
The new original

[Verse 2]
Get out of the way, hurry, take a warning
It’s swallowing you up—more, more
The spreading panic is quite a sight (Uh, uh, uh)
We’re the trigger, digging in deeper, uh
The energy keeps growing
Tearing things down one by one, yeah
I see it all, through the wall
You won’t be able to hold out (Oh)

[Pre-Chorus]
The feeling spreading out
Taking control of every sensation
Freeze it in an instant
Paralyzed within the glitch
All day I know—wherever you go
There’s no escape (I know)
It’s already coming up to you
We got that

[Chorus]
Up-up-up-upgrade (Uh)
Up-up-up-upgrade, yeah
Watch closely, we gon’ make
Twisting the boundaries, break it all
Up-up-up-upgrade (Upgrade)
Up-up-up-upgrade (Upgrade)
A new wave is etched in
Gonna be what you need, don’t you know?
[Post-Chorus]
Change up the vibe
Yeah, a fresh new pace
Reload right now
The new original

[Bridge]
Above the world stretching infinitely before our eyes (Above it all)
When only we are standing there
Keep it low, we’re on a roll now
Grasping a unique glitch with all our might, oh

[Interlude]
Yeah, give me that, uh
Okay
That’s right
We gotta upgrade
Yeah
Ha, alright
Bring it back, back in
Don’t you know

[Outro]
Change up the vibe
Exhaling a rough breath
Breaking on through
Turning limits upside down
Up-up-the, up-the upgrade
When I put it all on the line
Yeah, you know what time it is
Up-up-up-upgrade
