And I pray thee, I pray thee
One Psalm a day (Yeah, yuh know?)
(Just one Psalm)

[Verse 1: Masicka]

Victory neva easy, fit and we nuh sleepy
Every night mi pray to Jah, da gift ya neva leave mi
Share it and nuh greedy, fam will neva needy

Sometime mi feel mi strong alone, but Jah nuh leave mi
I beg yuh show mi all the ones dem wan’ deceive me
Love is light, we ignite, we living freely
Go fi every dream, we stand up, we looking clean, we
Yuh see di rank, a militant yute deh pon the scene, mi
Buy a house fi mi mada, what a scenery
Di family love, neva di cash a heal mi
A Jah-Jah grant mi wish, a not a genie

[Chorus: Masicka & Damian Marley]
A one Psalm a day
(And I pray thee and I pray thee)

[Verse 2: Damian Marley]
Di stove tun up, mi pot ah bubble, kitchen steamy
Mi numbers up all ’round the world, people a stream me
To spread Jah message is what matters most really
And right ya now, even the deaf must listen keenly
Babylon been working overtime and they’ve been scheming
Instigating war, robbing and dem stealing

Their ambition is to rob life of its meaning
Meanwhile we wasting time and thinking life is dreamy
So give Jah the thanks fi life, nuh matter how yuh feeling
‘Cause people crash when dem wasn’t even speeding
Rastafari love to see di seal a sealing
So pay attention to di literature yuh reading

[Chorus: Masicka & Damian Marley]
One Psalm a day (Yeah, yuh know?)
(Just one psalm)
Just even one
One Psalm a day (One Psalm, just one Psalm)
One Psalm a day (Uh-huh)
(Just one Psalm)
One Psalm a day
(One Psalm, just one Psalm)
One Psalm a day
One Psalm a day
(Just one Psalm)

[Verse 3: Masicka & Damian Marley]
A so daddy till the soil, a so mom gon’ go pray
Out deh rough inna di road and every man want a pay

The Lord is my shepherd, so I nah guh fret
Tell some dutty foot badmind bwoy, gwaan guh bathe
Wid one Psalm, Jah is one call away
One thunderball, ’cause some bwoy nah behave
