[Verse]
It happened about twelve years back
When I lived in an old complex
Giovanna’s cousin could only stay for the summer
For context, I was watching Real Steel
Back when cable television movies were up next
No Hulu, no Netflix
Someone had a Corvette
Rented a garage by the pool
No doubt that man was swimming in debt
Never saw him again
[Chorus]
Something about the air in the fall
The East Coast breeze that I’ll miss in California
I can’t afford to compare both things
Like leaves in the trees with thе glass of my camera
But I know I’m gonna have to let it go
You’rе gon’ have to let me know when it’s time
(When it’s time, oh, when it’s time), yeah

[Post-Chorus]
It’s not what I’m used to (Yeah, yeah)
It’s not who I am
