[Verse 1]
I wrote a letter to you last night
Instead of talking to the dark
So much I wanna say ever since you’ve been away
And I don’t wanna skip a part
I went out and bought your old car
That I wasn’t old enough to drive
I didn’t have your help, so I taught myself
Wish that I could take you for a ride

[Chorus]
I miss you more, the more you miss

What I’d give to hear your voice on nights like this
I miss you more, the more you miss
Seasons change, but there’s some things that time can’t fix

[Verse 2]
Will I be ready when the day comes?
When the world fits in my arms
Will she have your eyes?
Will she make me realize
All the things that you fell apart?
Why’s heaven such a long way down?
Thought the worst would be over by now
Every dream come true, everything I do
Still look for you in the crowd

[Chorus]
I miss you more the more you miss me
What I’d give to hear your voice on nights like this

[Bridge]
You would’ve loved to see
Who I’ve turned out to be
You would’ve loved the me, love
You were supposed to meet him
You would’ve loved to see

The two sons you’ll never meet
Why did you have to leave me?
You were supposed to meet him

[Chorus]
I miss you more the more you miss me
What I’d give to hear your voice on nights like this
I miss you more the more you miss
Seasons change but there’s some things that time can’t fix

[Outro]
I miss you more, I miss you more
I miss you more, the more you miss
Seasons change but there’s some things that time can’t fix
