[Verse 1]
Tearing written letters all while lying on this floor
Just trying to make sense of something that we’ve already seen before
‘Cause you were late, I’m dead weight, screaming, “I hate this home”
As I decay in every way, you’d rather just sit there
‘Cause you don’t know me, my dear

[Chorus]
Breathe in, breathe out, hope your whole world burns down
As you sit there thinking of me
Hollow, no sound, better off dead now
And if you only smile when it rains

I hope it never rains

[Verse 2]
If I ain’t taking water, Lord, then why do I still drown?
Every breath is heavy, though I’m just standing around
This ain’t shame, it’s pure hate, don’t even leave when I lay down
Wish every day would go away you spent lying
‘Cause you don’t know me, my dear

[Chorus]
Breathe in, breathe out, hope your whole world burns down
As you sit there thinking of me
Hollow, no sound, better off dead now
And if you only smile when it rains
I hope it never rains

[Outro]
I hope it never rains
I hope it never rains
