[Intro]
(“You will know when it is time to turn the page when you hear the chimes ring like this *Chimes ring*
Lets begin now”)

[Verse 1]
Ah, ah
Under a snail shell lamp
Breadcrumbs with jam fall asleep on a teabag
Down by the old tree roots
Blankets of moss drape over the roof

[Pre-Chorus 1]
She comes in light up shoes
I pretend she sees me and she does too
Everyday in rain or shine
She waits here in the garden, baby tooth smile
There she goes

[Chorus]
I hope that she knows
How I love the tiny clothes she makes
The roses and the daisy chains
I’ll never be seen
But I wish on every tea party and solar light
That someday she just might
(I hope that she knows, ah)
(“It’s time to turn the page”)

[Verse 2]
Mushrooms have grown since June
I think she did too, no more lights in her shoes
I miss the taste of jam
But mornings, she’s late so I understand

[Pre-Chorus 2]
It’s quiet most days now
The polyester wings don’t get used much now

I think she might forget me soon
When her smile has lost it’s last baby tooth
There she goes

[Chorus]
I hope that she knows
How I love the tiny clothes she makes
The roses and the daisy chains
I’ll never be seen
But I wish on every tea party and solar light
That someday she just might
(I hope that she knows)
I hope that she knows, ah

[Bridge]
Her hair changed like seasons
And her smile creases deepen
Her legs couldn’t hold all that heart
She comes to the dead stump
The teabag and breadcrumbs
One last tea party to part

[Outro]
I think she sees me now
I join her, we sit down and say farewell
I fall asleep right in her hands
I dream of distant lands and strawberry jam
There she goes
